Ordering

Whilst all efforts are made to ensure accuracy of description, specifications and pricing there may be occasions where errors arise. Should such a situation occur GoOpticians Ltd cannot accept your order. In the event of a mistake you will be contacted with a full explanation and a corrected offer. The information displayed is considered as an invitation to treat not as a confirmed offer for sale. The contract is confirmed upon supply of goods.

Out of Stock Items

We aim to keep our stock figures as accurate as possible. If however an item that you have ordered is out of stock we will contact you to advise you of this. Where possible we will offer you an alternative or advise you of when the item will be back in stock. You can then choose to have an alternative item, wait for the item to be back in stock or cancel.

Right to Cancel

We reserve the right to cancel any order placed with us. We will notify you via email or in writing. A refund will be made via your payment method as soon as possible but at the latest within 30 days. You will not be entitled to any further compensation.

Samples

GoOpticians offers the service of samples delivered your door to help you decide if a product is suitable for a new customer. Samples are subject to delivery if ordered individually and to a Maximum of 1 sample per product, maximum of 3 different samples per household. Samples are designed to help new buyers choose the right product, not to supplement an order, where we believe users are abusing this service, we reserve the right to cancel orders in full or in part without notice or explanation. If the order incurred postage costs, these will be refunded.

Not as described:

Whilst we always attempt to provide the most accurate information & pictures we cannot guarantee 100% colour accuracy of products due to photography and individual monitor settings. Furthermore some items are likely to vary between single units in a batch of products & photography is not able to depict all minor variations. For example if a roll of material is used with a pattern there may be some differences in final products. If you believe you have received an item that is not as described please contact us so we can help.

Non-Returnable

Personalised items are non-returnable (this does not apply to faulty goods – faulty products will be exchanged like for like)

Delivery service

As of 03.04.2015 our carrier of choice will be Royal Mail, using the 48 (2nd class) service for standard postage. Orders with subtotals of over £49.00 will have the option at checkout of using Royal Mail 48 Tracked (no signature) free of charge. We reserve the right to use another carrier in the event of technical issues, or where it is likely to improve delivery times. More Royal Mail delivery options are available at checkout, including 24 Tracked service and Special Delivery 1pm. We reserve the right to change delivery methods on a like for like basis without warning. If in doubt contact us.

Delivery times are calculated in working days Monday to Friday. We aim to send items within 24 hours of receiving your order, hour operating hours are 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday, orders placed outside these hours will be dispatched next working day. In the case of bank holidays and over the Christmas period, please allow an extra two working days. Sometimes due to high order volumes in certain sales periods orders may be sent later than this. We will attempt to contact you via phone or email if we become aware of an unexpected delay.

Stated delivery aims are an estimate and we do not guarantee you will receive your item within this timescale, however we work hard to dispatch your item promptly and currently more than 99% of our orders arrive on time.

Once the item has left our premises and has been accepted by the courier we no longer have control of the goods, and occasionally circumstances beyond our control may result in a delay in your order being received. We accept no liability for compensation for delayed items. Items not received, maybe resent or refunded at the discretion of the management.

If you have not received your item within the stated delivery estimate, please check the status of your parcel with the provided tracking details (if applicable) or contact us after delivery estimate and we will be pleased to assist you.

For get it faster delivery items

We aim to dispatch get it faster items the same day we receive the order so that you will receive your item on the next working day.

Christmas 2017

Please order before 8.30 Wednesday 22nd December if using the standard delivery option. Orders should reach you before Christmas although this cannot be guaranteed and will not be tracked using this service. Christmas delivery is estimated based on Royal Mail's expected delivery timescales and last possible postage dates, we cannot guarantee your item will arrive unless you ues Royal Mail Special Delivery. All orders placed after 8.30am on Tuesday and before 4.00pm on Friday 23rd December should be placed using Royal Mail special delivery, any items placed using other services, or after this time are expected to arrive after Christmas. Extended returns Christmas 2017

We have extended returns for any purchases from 1/11/2016 to 23/12/2016 bought as gifts until 31/1/2017, simply follow our returns process as below

Returns

You the buyer, have a right to cancel goods within 14 days of purchase. Please return goods within 30 days of receipt in original condition including all packaging. Please contact us to let us know you are returning an item & advise the reason for the return. Buyers shall pay the cost of return postage unless the item is damaged, defective or explicitly not as described (see here) in which case we will either refund your postal costs for returning the item up to the value or second class signed for post or provide you with a method of returning the item. If you choose to post your items back to us: The goods you return are your responsibility until received by us so we strongly recommend that you fully insure your package that you are returning. We suggest the use of a carrier that can provide you with a proof of delivery. GoOpticians Ltd will not be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. All refunds & reimbursements that fall outside of these terms are at the discretion of the management.

Up to 20% Discount on any 4 Calotherm products

Mix and match up to any 4 or more calotherm products for up to 20% discount. 10% on 2 items, 15% on 3 & 20% on 4. Discount calculated at checkout, on Calotherm products only, calculated on VAT inclusive price. We retain the right to withdraw this offer at any time, and cancel any order where we suspect abuse or other technical issue.

GoGrip Guarantee

We are so confident in the GoGrip Secure Glasses Cord, we will guarantee its use for 12 months from date of purchase. In the unlikely event of a GoGrip failure, we will refund or replace within 6 months of purchase, or replace free of charge between 6 & 12 months.

Simply post the item to the address below with details of the buyers full name and date of purchase. We will replace the item free of charge once. The GoGrip Guarantee does not affect your statutory rights. We do not take any responsibility for damage caused to property or spectacles in the event of a glasses cord failure, we recommend a visual inspection of the GoGrip fasteners weekly to ensure they are in good condition. GoGrip cords have a maximum recommended side width of 6mm, to maximize lifespan, make the point of rest for the grip the narrowest part of the spectacle arm. Only available on GoGrips purchased in the UK or on UK based websites from GoOpticians, purchased new, by the original buyer. Not available on foreign sales.
